1. Who we are

LR_TRADESJOURNAL (“we,” “us”) operates LR_TRADES and is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact: admin@lrtradesjournal.com.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: your email address, display name, and a securely hashed password.
• Content you create: your trades, notes, goals, prop-firm accounts, and any chart images you upload.
• Technical data: IP address, browser/device information, and log and cookie data needed to run and secure the service.
• Payment data: handled by our payment processors. We receive limited confirmation details (such as plan, status, and an invoice reference). We do not store your full card number or cryptocurrency wallet keys.

3. How we use your data

• To provide, sync, and secure your journal.
• To manage your account, subscriptions, invoices, and support requests.
• To prevent abuse and comply with legal obligations.
• To send essential service emails (e.g. verification, password reset, billing).

4. Cookies & sessions

We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in securely. We do not use it for advertising. Your browser’s local storage is used to hold your journal for offline use.

5. How we share data

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run LR_TRADES, under appropriate safeguards:

• Hosting: Hostinger.
• Payments: Razorpay (cards/UPI/international) and NOWPayments (crypto).
• Email delivery: Hostinger SMTP.
• Legal: where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

6. Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. You can request deletion at any time (see below).

7. Security

We protect your data using measures such as password hashing (bcrypt), encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, and rate limiting. Card and crypto details are tokenized/handled by our processors. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can request to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, email admin@lrtradesjournal.com.

9. Children

LR_TRADES is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. International transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than yours (for example, by our hosting or payment providers). Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. India — Digital Personal Data Protection Act

If you are in India, we handle your personal data in line with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Our Grievance Officer for data matters is LR (admin@lrtradesjournal.com).

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date reflects the latest version.
